Freshman Finals
This past week has been pretty relaxed. On Thursday we didn’t have session, so our Torrey group went out to Chick-fil-A and got a bunch of free food. We signed our Ignatius icon and then left. Robynne and I went to Disney land and then I watched the second to last episode of Lost with Monica and Devon. The weekend was pretty chill. Saturday I played grounders with a group of people at La Mirada park, but then the park closed so we had to leave.
Sunday I went to my new church, Grace EV Free, with Ryan L. Every time I go it’s a great service.

That night was the LOST finale. I went with a group of friends to see the ending of one of the greatest shows ever! We went to the Orphium theater and watched the show with 1800 fans! We laughed, we cried, we were moved. And now, after so many years it’s over. I’m glad I went, but I got back and to bed around 1 and had a final at 7 am and Don Rags at 1:45. Those two finals went well. I got an A in Torrey and I got some form of A in Bible Research Sem.
Tuesday marked my final day at WACC. I made a lot of friends on the staff there, and I’ll miss them all. I even connected with a good number of kids, and I’ll miss them too. But I know that it’s time to move on. Next semester I’ll be attending Grace, but they don’t have any space in their youth ministry right now for me to work. This will be the first year since I was a sophomore in high school where I haven’t worked with youth. I might be a good thing, see how I do without it, have more free time to take on other ministries on campus, etc. But I know that my heart will be aching to work with youth, and maybe that’s a God thing. Maybe I need a little time away to make me hungry again. Maybe.
Today I took my last final, which means I am done with my freshman year! YAHHHHH!!! It’s been wild ride, full of friends, food, and fun times (like the alliteration?). I’ll probably write some reminiscent post within the week, but tonight I’m playing ultimate with Mat and some people and then sleeping over on the floor I’m living on next year. So PTL! I’m DONE!

Mat, Derek, and I. We go all the way back to SOS week, and I probably wouldn't really know them without it. Now we're all SOS leaders, which means SOS week is gonna rock
